UNO Maverick Cheer Team Tryout Information


**  Dates for Tryouts ** 

April 6 and 7, 2013
Time - Saturday 9:00 - 2:00, Sunday 11:30 - 2:30
HPER room 135 (Health, Physical Education, and Recreation)


Requirements for tryouts are:

• Must be a full time student at UNO. Transfer and high school students participating in tryouts must have a letter of acceptance into UNO.
• Tryouts will include jumps, tumbling, cheers, chants, and dance.
• The reference form your current cheer advisor (or teacher if no advisor is available).
• Tryout form and all other paper work must be submitted in advance.
• UNO Release form.
• Current proof of your GPA.
• A copy of your insurance card.
• Cost for tryouts - $20.00.
• Attire - black shorts, black sports bra, white socks, white shoes, hair half up\down, and makeup should be performance ready.
• No jewelry and tattoos must be covered.

Those making the team will need to attend the Women's Walk on April 20, 2013 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.
A $100.00 deposit will be due May 20, 2013.

 All paperwork is due April 1st, 2013.  If you do not have all your paperwork turned in you will not be able to tryout.  No late papers will be excepted.

Note - This is a year-long commitment (May through March).
